Welcome to Fur Folks Home, a compassionate animal hospice and palliative care center founded by the team at VetMobile. Our mission is rooted in Fear-Free practices, striving to minimize stress for our beloved animal guests.
With over seven years of specialized experience in pet palliative and hospice care, our team—led by Dr. Angeline Yang, along with our highly trained veterinary nurses, technicians, and supportive care specialists—is dedicated to the well-being of both animals and their human companions.
We recognize that caring for aging or special-needs pets requires expert attention. Many pets may need assistance with tasks such as bladder expression, wound care, or mobility support. For busy pet owners, balancing these responsibilities can be challenging, often impacting the well-being of both the pet and the caregiver.
Without the right support, caregivers may experience fatigue, leading to difficult decisions, including the consideration of premature euthanasia due to concerns about quality of life. Traditional pet services, such as groomers and daycare facilities, often lack the resources to provide the intensive care these pets require, and even general veterinary clinics may struggle with the time and space needed to fully support caregivers.
That’s where Fur Folks Home steps in—to provide the specialized care and support you and your pet deserve.
To provide the highest quality of care, appointments are mandatory. This allows us to tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each animal entrusted to our care.

Lokto first met Dr. Angeline nearly a decade ago when they worked together at a veterinary clinic. Though her current full-time job is in a different field, Lokto remains passionate about animals and has graciously agreed to work part-time on weekends.
Her bond with animals is best exemplified by her relationship with Kingsley, her beloved Singapore Special. Kingsley, while adorable and full of personality, once made a hole in her bedroom door—a testament to his tenacity. Keeping Kingsley well-cared for has proven to be quite the financial commitment, which is why Lokto takes on extra jobs to meet his needs.
Lokto’s journey into the animal care field began in Hong Kong, where she took an introductory course for veterinary assistants. This sparked her interest in working with animals, leading her to gain hands-on experience in local clinics. Although she has since left the veterinary industry full-time, she still remains involved, dipping in and out of the field to stay connected to her love for pets. Her commitment to animal welfare drives her to continue learning and contributing whenever she can, making her a valuable asset to any team she works with.
Kandice is the type of person you’ll often find sitting on the kitchen floor at a house party, happily befriending the resident pet, or on a hiking trail, utterly captivated by a squirrel.
As a passionate advocate for animal welfare and rights, she has dedicated her time to volunteering with various animal rescue organizations, both in Singapore and abroad, making a significant impact in the lives of animals in need.
Her journey into the world of animal rehabilitation began when she sought treatment for her beloved rescued German Shepherd, Ari, who suffers from hip dysplasia. This experience opened her eyes to the importance of specialized care for animals and inspired her to pursue training as an animal rehabilitation assistant. Since then, she has also become certified as a Canine Massage Therapist, further enhancing her ability to provide effective care.
Kandice is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills in understanding and healing animals. Her long-term dream is to live on a beautiful island where there are more beaches than roads and an abundance of happy, well-cared-for animals she can cherish and support.
Mandy has always had a profound love for animals, and over the past seven years, she has worked with a diverse array of species, including cats, dogs, rodents, reptiles, fish, birds, and most recently, invertebrates. She holds a specialist diploma in Veterinary Wellness Care, which has enhanced her knowledge and skills in animal health.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her rescued senior cat, a gentle and sweet-natured companion who motivates Mandy to continuously learn about animal science and care, ensuring her feline friend receives the best possible life.
While she loves working with all types of animals, Mandy has a particular passion for cats and reptiles. Her enthusiasm for wildlife and the natural world drives her to spend much of her free time herping and hiking, observing animals in their natural habitats. These experiences fuel her commitment to understanding animal behavior on a deeper level.
Mandy is excited to work with Dr. Angeline and Zheng Hao, two individuals she greatly admires for their dedication to animal welfare, people, and environmental sustainability. She feels incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that goes the extra mile to make a meaningful difference for animals and the world around them.
Zi Jing, also known as Tissue, is a dedicated nature-based practitioner who believes that every being, whether animal or human, experiences a full spectrum of emotions—from joy to fear. Her approach to care is centered on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each companion animal, carefully attuned to their silent signals of comfort and discomfort.
At home, Zi Jing shares her space with Eli, a 10-year-old Singapore Special who has gradually become more confident despite his initially fearful nature. She understands that caring for aging pets can be challenging, but at Fur Folks Home, she trusts that thoughtful and compassionate care is always provided to every fur-family member.
Al is curious—her favourite hobby is collecting more hobbies. Some of al’s hobbies include working with her hands, hiking, sport climbing, puzzle-solving, stuffing her face with noodles, and goofing around with pepper the elderly dog.
Al has difficulty recognizing human faces and forgets them almost instantly. she is learning how to better care for furry pals at fur folks home.
My name is Ingrid and my love for animals started at a very young age.
Growing up in a family that adored animals, I was always surrounded by them—whether it was dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, horses, goats, pigs, or cows. At the age of 11, I began volunteering at a children’s farm in the Netherlands, where I had the chance to care for even more animals and deepen my passion.
Although animals have always been a core part of my life, I truly started working for their welfare when we moved abroad. I became a volunteer and later a merchandise and volunteer manager at the SPCA, dedicating 12 years to the cause. While I eventually stepped down from my role, I continue to be involved as a lead volunteer.
My husband and I have made it our mission to adopt cats that are often overlooked—whether they are blind, have behavioral challenges, or suffer from health issues. We firmly believe that every shelter animal deserves a forever home. When you choose to have an animal, it is a lifelong commitment, including when they require palliative care.
Fur Folks Home is especially close to my heart because it allows pet owners to provide special care for their animals while still taking a much-needed break. I’m truly honored to volunteer at FFH, ensuring that the animals in our care have a comfortable and enjoyable stay—giving both them and their owners peace of mind.
My name is Daena, and i am a certified canine rehabilitation assistant! I have always loved animals and over the years I’ve been lucky enough to work with all kinds while volunteering at shelters, wildlife parks, and Riding for the Disabled Association.
When I’m not home disturbing my dog Fufu, you can find me bouldering, playing some baddy or bakery hopping.
During my time in Sydney working at a specialist hospital, I came to understand the importance of support for people with special needs animals and i’m super excited to join the team at Fur Folks Home in helping these families!
Hi all, my name is Pei Xian. Own two cats but envision my house to be filled with dogs, silkies, froggies, rabbits and oh my oh, monkeys please.
I hardly watch TV or use social media. An ideal day would consist of going for a hike, sketching outdoors, reading in a cafe or as simple as staying at home disturbing my parents (and the cats).
I love old people and my definition of cute is a toothless ahpek or ahma with wrinkly face smiling. I move my life at a slow pace because time flies but we don’t have to fly with it 🙂
