Welcome to Fur Folks Home, a compassionate animal hospice and palliative care center founded by the team at VetMobile. Our mission is rooted in Fear-Free practices, striving to minimize stress for our beloved animal guests.
With over seven years of specialized experience in pet palliative and hospice care, our team—led by Dr. Angeline Yang, along with our highly trained veterinary nurses, technicians, and supportive care specialists—is dedicated to the well-being of both animals and their human companions.
We recognize that caring for aging or special-needs pets requires expert attention. Many pets may need assistance with tasks such as bladder expression, wound care, or mobility support. For busy pet owners, balancing these responsibilities can be challenging, often impacting the well-being of both the pet and the caregiver.
Without the right support, caregivers may experience fatigue, leading to difficult decisions, including the consideration of premature euthanasia due to concerns about quality of life. Traditional pet services, such as groomers and daycare facilities, often lack the resources to provide the intensive care these pets require, and even general veterinary clinics may struggle with the time and space needed to fully support caregivers.
That’s where Fur Folks Home steps in—to provide the specialized care and support you and your pet deserve.
To provide the highest quality of care, appointments are mandatory. This allows us to tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each animal entrusted to our care.
Wound management, fluid administration, and husbandry advice for palliative or geriatric patients.
Quality of life assessment provided by trained staff, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and personalized care.
Blood collection and in-house diagnostics using IDEXX systems, ensuring accurate and timely assessments.

To access our services, we require a referral letter from your pet’s primary healthcare provider if you are not already a client of ours.

Paramesh has dedicated the last five years to the veterinary industry, where she has cultivated a deep passion for animal care and well-being. Always eager to learn and improve, she prioritizes putting animals first in every aspect of her work.
Recognizing the unique needs of geriatric dogs, she took the initiative to learn grooming techniques so she could provide specialized care for her beloved dog, Guru, as well as other senior pets in need. Paramesh’s ultimate dream is to own a geriatric pet grooming company that focuses on delivering high-quality grooming and care for aging animals.
Her experience with Guru and her other pets has fueled her desire to enhance the quality of geriatric and palliative care services available to pets. She understands the challenges that come with aging animals and is determined to make a positive impact in their lives.
In a heartwarming twist, Paramesh recently rescued an additional pet bird from a group of bully crows, showcasing her compassionate nature. We are thrilled to have someone with such a good heart on our team, and we hope she finds joy and fulfillment working with us until she can realize her dream of opening her own grooming service.
Lokto first met Dr. Angeline nearly a decade ago when they worked together at a veterinary clinic. Though her current full-time job is in a different field, Lokto remains passionate about animals and has graciously agreed to work part-time on weekends.
Her bond with animals is best exemplified by her relationship with Kingsley, her beloved Singapore Special. Kingsley, while adorable and full of personality, once made a hole in her bedroom door—a testament to his tenacity. Keeping Kingsley well-cared for has proven to be quite the financial commitment, which is why Lokto takes on extra jobs to meet his needs.
Lokto’s journey into the animal care field began in Hong Kong, where she took an introductory course for veterinary assistants. This sparked her interest in working with animals, leading her to gain hands-on experience in local clinics. Although she has since left the veterinary industry full-time, she still remains involved, dipping in and out of the field to stay connected to her love for pets. Her commitment to animal welfare drives her to continue learning and contributing whenever she can, making her a valuable asset to any team she works with.
Kandice is the type of person you’ll often find sitting on the kitchen floor at a house party, happily befriending the resident pet, or on a hiking trail, utterly captivated by a squirrel.
As a passionate advocate for animal welfare and rights, she has dedicated her time to volunteering with various animal rescue organizations, both in Singapore and abroad, making a significant impact in the lives of animals in need.
Her journey into the world of animal rehabilitation began when she sought treatment for her beloved rescued German Shepherd, Ari, who suffers from hip dysplasia. This experience opened her eyes to the importance of specialized care for animals and inspired her to pursue training as an animal rehabilitation assistant. Since then, she has also become certified as a Canine Massage Therapist, further enhancing her ability to provide effective care.
Kandice is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills in understanding and healing animals. Her long-term dream is to live on a beautiful island where there are more beaches than roads and an abundance of happy, well-cared-for animals she can cherish and support.
Josephine began her career as a veterinary nurse at a community animal clinic, where she gained invaluable experience in shelter medicine, clinical care, and helping companion animals on their journey to recovery.
During her time in this role, she developed a strong foundation in providing hands-on medical care and supporting animals through various stages of their healing process.
Driven by her passion for improving animal welfare, Josephine sought to expand her knowledge and skill set. She pursued a Specialist Diploma in Veterinary Wellness Care and completed additional nursing programs to deepen her expertise in animal health and rehabilitation. Currently, she is embarking on an exciting new chapter in her career as she works toward becoming a certified canine rehabilitation practitioner (CCRP).
Josephine’s ultimate goal is to explore non-invasive rehabilitation techniques and use positive reinforcement methods to enhance the well-being and quality of life for the animals she works with. She is committed to providing compassionate and effective care, always prioritizing the needs and comfort of her patients. As a fear-free certified practitioner, Josephine ensures that every animal in her care experiences a calm, safe, and stress-free environment.
Mandy has always had a profound love for animals, and over the past seven years, she has worked with a diverse array of species, including cats, dogs, rodents, reptiles, fish, birds, and most recently, invertebrates. She holds a specialist diploma in Veterinary Wellness Care, which has enhanced her knowledge and skills in animal health.
Her greatest inspiration comes from her rescued senior cat, a gentle and sweet-natured companion who motivates Mandy to continuously learn about animal science and care, ensuring her feline friend receives the best possible life.
While she loves working with all types of animals, Mandy has a particular passion for cats and reptiles. Her enthusiasm for wildlife and the natural world drives her to spend much of her free time herping and hiking, observing animals in their natural habitats. These experiences fuel her commitment to understanding animal behavior on a deeper level.
Mandy is excited to work with Dr. Angeline and Zheng Hao, two individuals she greatly admires for their dedication to animal welfare, people, and environmental sustainability. She feels incredibly fortunate to be part of a team that goes the extra mile to make a meaningful difference for animals and the world around them.
Hannah has spent the past decade working in healthcare, where she developed a deep passion for palliative care, primarily focusing on supporting humans during the end stages of life. However, in the last two years, her life took a new direction when she had the opportunity to care for two geriatric Singapore Specials with high care needs.
Through this personal experience, Hannah realized how limited the support is for pet owners who are caring for aging or palliative pets, especially those with complex medical conditions. This led to a shift in her passion, as she moved from focusing on human palliative care to providing that same level of care and support for animals and their families.
Her dogs have been her greatest teachers, showing her how to practice patience when times are tough, how to love without reservation despite past hardships, and how to appreciate every new day. They have also taught her the power of forgiveness when things don’t go as planned.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys experimenting with new recipes, reading, and taking her three-legged pup on adventures. She is currently pursuing fear-free certification and plans to continue her education to ensure she can offer the best possible care to every pet she encounters.
Zi Jing, also known as Tissue, is a dedicated nature-based practitioner who believes that every being, whether animal or human, experiences a full spectrum of emotions—from joy to fear. Her approach to care is centered on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each companion animal, carefully attuned to their silent signals of comfort and discomfort.
At home, Zi Jing shares her space with Eli, a 10-year-old Singapore Special who has gradually become more confident despite his initially fearful nature. She understands that caring for aging pets can be challenging, but at Fur Folks Home, she trusts that thoughtful and compassionate care is always provided to every fur-family member.
Mindy, our dedicated groomer, first came to our attention through one of our clients, E, who spoke highly of her work with Lola, E’s paraplegic dog. Lola, known for her lively personality and limited patience, can be quite a handful, occasionally threatening to bite.
Despite these challenges, Mindy has consistently worked with her in a calm and composed manner, gradually earning Lola’s trust. What’s even more remarkable is that she has achieved this connection without the use of any food bribes, relying solely on her patience and gentle approach.
While Mindy tends to be a little shy when it comes to sharing about herself, we managed to get her to open up a bit. Since 2018, she has been certified as an SKC “C” Class Groomer, a title she is proud to hold. Her personal experience with animals extends beyond her professional life—she once cared for a bunny and now has a lovebird. Mindy’s journey into pet grooming began with her lifelong love for animals, and she saw grooming as an opportunity to not only work closely with pets but also to learn how to provide the care and support they need. Her dedication to her craft and the well-being of all pets makes her an invaluable part of our team.
